Closing date: 5 Aug 2018Le Concert Olympique is a new orchestra aiming to create music of the highest level with a unique, contemporary musical experience based on historical insights, a thorough reading of the score and a quest for beauty. The orchestra consists of 45 selected musicians from the whole of Europe who come together several times a year to perform the carefully selected programmes and projects in which Beethoven and his contemporaries take centre stage.
Le Concert Olympique performs Beethoven’s music based on insight, hoping to provide an authentic, relevant, exhilarating and referential experience to the audience.

Performance, with San Francisco Symphony. The Education Department of the San Francisco Symphony is currently accepting applications from woodwind quartets to audition for the 2018-2019 season of Adventures in Music (AIM)!
The AIM program reaches all students in grades 1 – 5 on every campus in the San Francisco Unified School District. Part of this program includes small ensembles presenting a series of musically educational performances from January to May of 2019 in each of the 76 participating elementary schools.
We are looking for groups that are enthusiastic about presenting music to children in an educational setting, and that are open to collaborating with the SFS Education Department in creating an interactive and enriching musical program for students. Selected ensembles will participate in 4 training sessions during the fall of 2018.
Auditions will take place in the summer of 2018.
